Evening! I present to you "Odyssey", one of the new projects I'm working on. It's a graphic adventure developed by The Young Socratics, a team of University professors who make use of videogames as a new way of teaching. Here's the track I've composed for the upcoming trailer:

Over the course of the next few weeks I'll keep you updated on the progress of the videogame, which is planned to release on Steam on the 15th of February. As for now, feel free to check the game's website for details on the project:  http://theodysseygame.com/

I was just telling Alfredo earlier that Synopsis of an Odyssey, his composed theme for Odyssey's trailer above, made my morning. Anyhoo, it's now been added to his Space as an official portfolio entry.

For more information on Odyssey, which seems like a fascinating game in its own right, here's its Steam page. Details on Alfredo's work, rates and method of operation meanwhile can be found at the aforementioned Space.

All feedback and queries are welcome; and may be left in this sub-forum.

The Trial is a light-hearted, slightly tense tune intended for a court-room duel between two lawyers. Part of Alfredo's 15-track original score for 2016 comedy-drama film Porches And Private Eyes, the track has now been added to his Space as an official portfolio entry.

Alfredo says it all about his latest portfolio entry --

The Journey Begins mixes the rush and fear with the sense of adventure, themes that characterize the opening cut-scene of the video game Odyssey. Later in development, I decided to replace this piece with a more subtle one, in order to highlight the dialogue in the video. Despite that, it still holds a special place in my heart.

Hello everyone! Hope you've had a good weekend. Today I've been feeling nostalgic, so I've decided to post a track I started composing exactly one year ago. The main developer of the videogame "Demetrios: The Big Cynical Adventure" asked me to come up with a piece of music that would fully capture the spirit of the story he wanted to tell. The track had to be goofy, comedic and carry a vein of mystery. A few days after I delivered him the track you see linked here. Let me know what you think!

One of the first songs I'd heard of yours as well!

Continuing to go down memory avenue, I'd like to show you "The Investigation Begins", one of the tracks I composed for the for movie "Porches and Private Eyes". We left this one for last, as it was quite a tricky one to create. It had to encapsulate a sense both of mistery and of will to start investigating, as well as the Southern feel that embraces the whole movie. After several trials, I came up with this track, that left both me and the director, Travis Mills, satisfied.

Following the big announcement we made in relation to another one of our members, Antonio d'Amore, last weekend, it's time for some major news from Alfredo Sirica himself today.

Huge Calf Studios' maiden game venture, a bridge-building physics puzzler named Carried Away, went live on Steam Greenlight over the weekend. What makes it all the more special for us is that Alfredo has not only worked on the game's launch trailer theme, but will also also potentially be working on the rest of the game's jazzy OST.

This is the first collaboration we've helped effect for Alfredo since his joining us in December; we go in to the details here, while also linking you to Carried Away's Steam page.

Hello everyone! Following the news from the last two weeks about the videogame "Carried Away", I'd like to share with you the original version of the track I composed for the trailer. What's different about this version is the brass, used with much more intensity towards the second half. As for the track itself, I tried to put my own spin on the Swing genre by adding to the traditional instruments unconventional ones, as well as unusual chords. The chords used help capture the light-hearted tone of the game, and instruments such as glockenspiels and celestas have always been used as an allegory for snow, which is a huge part of the game environment. I'll be glad to know what you think!

Hello everyone! This week's update is from a wonderful short film I have just finished working on: "Pawns". It is a period drama set during World War I that tells the story of two soldiers, a German and a British, who find themselves to start most unlikely of friendships. This track in particular is for the end credits, and represents the incredible bond that connects the two protagonists. Let me know what you think!

Definitely up there alongside your work on Odyssey, for me. Love it!

Also, for the rest of you, don't forget to check out Pawns on Indiegogo. 🙂

Alfredo's Something New is a classical song of hope and sadness; it plays during the climax of 2016 feature film Porches and Private Eyes.

Also, the artist's Space has now been updated to include a contact form; getting in touch with original music/sound requests should now be easier. 🙂

At the crux of Calling For Help's melody is a lonely voice, meant to capture the sense of solitude players will encounter on The Young Socratics' puzzle adventure, Odyssey. The harp and strings meanwhile, as some of you may notice from previously showcased compositions from the game on this thread, follow the style established by Alfredo in the rest of his work on Odyssey's  soundtrack.
